There is a version of wedding videography that feels overproduced, maybe a little too dramatic slow motion, heavy-handed music, forced moments that don’t reflect who you actually are. That is not what we make.
Our films are intentional, but above all they are real. We document your day the way it actually unfolded, from all the quiet moments between the chaos, the unscripted emotion, the details that made your wedding yours and nobody else’s. We stay close but unobtrusive. We anticipate rather than direct. And we edit with restraint, mostly letting the genuine moments carry the film rather than manufacturing a version that does not feel authentic.
What We Capture
Our videography team works alongside our photography team throughout your entire wedding day — from the getting-ready suite through the final dance. We capture everything your highlight reel needs: the emotional exchange of vows, the first look reaction, the speeches in full, the first dance, the details of your venue, quiet moments, and the energy of your celebration as the night builds.
Southwest Florida’s natural environment makes every frame extraordinary. The Gulf light at golden hour, the waterfront backdrops of Naples and Sarasota, the lush tropical settings of the Gulf Coast, and we use all of it intentionally. Whether your wedding is a barefoot beach ceremony at sunset, a grand ballroom celebration at a Sarasota estate, or an intimate waterfront dinner in Naples, we bring the same editorial eye to the lens.
What’s Included
Every CityLux South wedding videography collection is built around your specific event. We offer three distinct deliverables and most couples choose this standard package:
Your teasers are 30 second edit set to music — the version you will probably post on social media, short and simple.
Your highlight film is a 3–5 minute cinematic edit set to music — the version you will share with family, post on social media, and watch together on your anniversary. It captures the emotional arc of your day in a format designed to be watched again and again.
Your full ceremony and speeches film preserves every word of your vows and every toast in complete, unedited form. This includes all the formalities of your day, first looks, vows, ceremony, anything that is a typical formal point of the wedding. Years from now, hearing the exact words spoken on your wedding day is something no highlight reel can replace.
All are delivered as private online links within 8–10 weeks of your wedding day.
Optional video add-ons
We can create a longer and more documentary video style, with interviews, and a different sort of feel. This is an upgrade and changes some of the deliverables.
Also available is a 1990s VHS camcorder, we shoot video to the VHS tape. We take the VHS tape and make a digital copy of it. You then also get this video in its full length unedited, and we also take portions and work them into your highlight or teaser videos. It is generally 15-20 minute VHS recorder tape, however we can add additional tapes if you want.

We do our best to capture everything and understand your venue and event.

Do we really need a videographer if we have a photographer? Yes and here is why. Photography preserves the image of your wedding day. Videography preserves the experience. Hearing your partner’s voice during vows, hearing the laughter in the room during speeches, feeling the energy of the dance floor, these are some of the things photographs cannot convey. Couples who skip the videographer consistently say it is their biggest regret.
How is your videography different from other SWFL videographers? We are a photography-first team and that means our videographers think like photographers. We compose shots, work the light, and anticipate moments rather than simply following the action. The result is footage that looks as intentional as our still images.
Do you offer drone footage? Yes, for eligible venues. Southwest Florida’s waterfront venues, beachfront ceremonies, and estate properties are extraordinary from the air. Ask about drone availability when you inquire about your date.
Can we book videography without photography? Yes. Videography is available as a standalone service or as part of a combined photo and video package. Combined packages offer the best creative coordination and the most cohesive visual story across both deliverables.
When do we receive our films? Highlight films and ceremony edits are delivered within 8–10 weeks of your wedding day. Rush delivery is available on request.
